Your screenshots stay on your machine
The Cull app stores your screenshots and settings locally, on your computer only. Screenshots are never uploaded, synced, or sent anywhere. They never leave your device.
Feedback form
If you use the feedback form on this site, we receive the email address and message you type. It's delivered to the developer's inbox via Resend (an email delivery service) and used only to read your feedback and reply to you. Nothing else is done with it.
Anonymous download metrics
When someone clicks the download button, the server records: the UTC timestamp, a coarse location (country, region, and city from Vercel's geo headers), the OS and browser family parsed from the user agent, and a truncated one-way hash of the IP address and user agent. That hash exists only to estimate unique download counts — it can't be reversed back into an IP address. No raw IP addresses, names, or email addresses are stored.
Anonymous usage pings
The installed app sends one anonymous "installed" event after setup, and then an anonymous weekly heartbeat. Each ping contains only the app version and the event type, anonymized the same way as downloads. That's it — no usage tracking, no screenshot data, no personal information.
Page analytics
This site uses Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics service. It counts page views without setting cookies or tracking you across other sites.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own.
Who else sees data
Your data is never sold or shared with third parties, with two narrow exceptions that make the site work: Vercel (hosting and the analytics above) and Resend (delivering feedback emails). That's the complete list.
